C. H. Raney

Flying Lieutenant Cheri Hassanand Raney was awarded Vir Chakra posthumously. Born on 13th March 1944, he was educated in St. Xavier's School, Bombay and later on in St. Xavier's School, Jaipur. He studied at the D.G. National College, Bombay, and Joined the Indian Air Force in 1963 and was killed in action during Indo-Pak war in 1965.
