Flying Officer Kishin Lakhimal Malkani was another Sindhi Air Force Officer who was awarded Vir Chakra posthumously. He was born in 1945, educated at Boon's school at Deolali, got a diploma in engineering from Jodhpur and was commissioned in Indian Air force. He attacked enemy Air force station in N.W. Frontier on 5.12.1971, and while returning from his successful sortie, his plane was attacked by Pakistani Air Force and he was killed during the Indo-Pak war.
