Major Ramesh Notandas Badlani was born in 1941 at Hyderabad Sind, graduated from the Maharaja College, Jaipur, stood first in the Army Selection Board examination held at Bangalore in 1961. A tall and handsom bachelor whose wedding was fixed for 21st November 1971 during Indo-Pak war. He was also awarded Vir Chakra.
